Cranford’s add-on runs the difference in key UCC victory over No. 12 Gov. Livingston

In a game between Union County Conference heavyweights Tuesday, the difference was add-on runs.After it scored five runs in the second, Cranford added single runs in the fourth and fifth and then two in the seventh. Gov. Livingston scored four in the fourth but was blanked by Cranford’s right-handed ace Will Gallagher over the final three frames.Cranford roughed up five Gov. Livingston pitchers, scored a 9-4 victory in New Providence and took over sole possession of second place behind New Providence in the UCC Watchung Division.
